Little Ballers Academy is the perfect starting point for young athletes ages 5-7 to learn and fall in love with the game of basketball. Our weekly clinic focuses on the fundamentals, including proper shooting mechanics, pivoting, passing, and dribbling. Each session is designed to build a strong foundation, emphasizing essential skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Join us every Monday from 5:15-6:15 PM to help your little baller develop confidence on the court while mastering the basics of the game. Whether they’re new to basketball or eager to improve, Little Ballers Academy is where young players learn to play the right way!

Little Ballers Academy led by Coach James Young, 

James Young is a seasoned coach with over 25 years of experience at the Jersey Shore. A 1994 graduate of Red Bank Catholic, he was a key player on two B-North Championship teams and captained the first Caseys team to reach the Shore Conference Tournament final. At Green Mountain College, he led the team to two Mayflower Conference Championships.

Returning to the Shore, Coach Young served the Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Red Bank Catholic for seven years. As Head Coach at Rumson-Fair Haven, he oversaw the biggest turnaround in the Shore, and at Red Bank Regional, he transformed a struggling girls' program into a top-10 contender. At Monmouth University, he helped develop one of the nation's top defenses.

Since 2021, Coach Young has focused on training athletes and teams, drawing from his extensive background to help players reach their full potential.

Make-up Policy: Thank you for being a valued customer here at Central Jersey Basketball, we do appreciate it and want you to ensure you get the full value for all programs you register for.  In order for us to staff our classes properly you MUST notify the club at makeups@centraljerseybasketball.com 24 hours in advance to receive a make-up. Make-ups may be used at any time(space permitting) and players MUST be registered in advance for all make-up classes, no walk-ins permitted. 

CJB offers rolling admissions so you can register your child at any time during the session (space permitting).
